Callie Carnemark

Senior Associate

Callie’s approach to family law matches an empathy for her clients and problem-solving skills aimed at achieving resolution with a litigation background that brings a strong courtroom presence if and when the case requires it. Before joining Delaney Stafford, Callie honed her skills as a litigator at a distinguished Maryland firm, where she specialized in business, commercial, real estate, landlord-tenant, and construction litigation. She is well-versed in complex financial disputes, business valuation, and distribution of both real and personal property. She was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for the state of Maryland in 2019 and 2020. Her decision to change course to focus on family law grew out of a desire to work closely with individuals during difficult times in their lives, and to apply creative solutions to legal and emotional challenges in a way that is not called for in business disputes.

Prior to entering private practice, Callie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Terrence J. McGann in the Montgomery County Circuit Court, where she assisted in the adjudication of dozens of family law cases, including several multifaceted custody and financial disputes.

A native of Montgomery County, Callie is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association, and she serves on the Executive Committee for the Montgomery County Bar Foundation. She is a graduate of the 2017 Montgomery County Bar Association Leadership Academy class. From 2018 to 2020, she served on the Executive Committee of the Montgomery County Bar Association and co-chaired its New Practitioner Section–for which she won the 2020 Section Chair of the Year award. She is also a member of the Virginia State Bar Association and the Montgomery County Women's Bar Association.
